Back in October, I decided to use spray paint on a few of the paintings I had on the go. Had a lot of fun with it and really liked the initial surfaces I was getting but such is my practice that they are now all buried under layers of paint. Maybe hints of it are still visible; all of these below are under my grad show body of work.

Almost always when I paint, I am just as compelled by what ends up on my paint palette. I have used different surfaces as paint palettes- large ceramic tiles, disposable plates and baking paper. The following are cut outs of my paper paint palettes which I have collaged, some with thoughtful consideration and others completely by chance.
